This was the first dress I have ever made for a child, and it was very, very easy to follow! It has been well over a year since I made the first one for my youngest daughter, and she still wears it today! I will be making her more in different fabrics... it's so comfortable!

I made several of these as tops with ruffle pants and dresses. So easy to make without a lot of fabric. Always turns out so cute. I always get tons of compliments when my daughter wears this top! Great pattern for beginners and can be worn thru all seasons!

Lovely pattern and such a quick and easy dress to put together. I love that you can have different fabric sleeves, with or without the elastic. I've also added an inch for a variation to make them a little longer.

One of my all time favorite patterns. So quick and easy to make, but stylish. And with the elastic it grows from a dress into a shirt! Still making more over a year later!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pattern and the resulting dress... its my current favourite! The instructions are well explained and the photos show me everything I needed. Its a quick and easy dress and looks perfect! I too think its brilliant to iron all hems before - makes it so easy! Thanks leila&ben!

I got this pattern and LOVE it! And so does my 2 year old daughter :) It's quick and easy to sew, and comfy for her. I'm having baby girl #2 this fall so I'm whipping up plenty now for my "big girl" to have this fall and for baby girl to start wearing when she's big enough. It's a simple pattern that takes maybe an hour from cut to finish and would be wonderful for someone just starting to sew. Cute AND modest, what more can we want for our little ladies? :)

I could never say enough wonderful things about this pattern. So quick and easy. I've had so many compliments and many friends wanting outfits for thier DDs. I pair them with matching bloomers and it is just too precious! Thank you for a wonderful pattern!

This was my go to pattern this Christmas. I made on efor every little niece that I have (size 5 and under ;). I never thought about ironing hems BEFORE you sew the fabric into tight little circles! Such a fun pattern!

Bobbi Erickson - August 1st, 2011

I had the opportunity to test this pattern! It was so fun and my dd loves it! It was really easy to understand and the pics were great! It only took me about an hour to cut it out and sew it up! It really turns out to be more of a long shirt on older kids. I made the 5t and my dd wears it with a long sleeve shirt and jeans. Really a cute dress!
