Description:

Featured in Paper Creations magazine, we are excited to offer this unique tutorial by Precious Patterns.

Length of necklace is 16”.

Materials Needed:

-3/4” x 1 5/8” Bamboo bead - bead has two holes that run vertically through bead.
Bamboo beads can be ordered online at www.yourATCstore.com.
-Acid free patterned paper – available at scrapbooking stores, Michaels, JoAnn Fabric Store, etc.
-1mm Black cotton cord (can be waxed) – one 24” length is needed to make a 16” necklace
-20 Gauge silver wire – 6” length
-10mm Silver jump ring
-1” Silver head pin
-Assorted beads – one small bead for droplet at bottom of bamboo bead & one large bead for Bead & loop closure (holes in beads should not be too large or they will slip through head Pin and knots in cord)
-White craft glue (Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue Brush ON™ was used for sample necklace but any white craft glue will work fine)
-Polyurethane varnish (DecoArt® DuraClear Varnish Gloss was used for sample necklace – other Products that you can use for a shinier finish are Envirotex Resin and Diamond Glaze. I like the DuraClear Varnish because it’s premixed and easy to use.
-Tools – round nose pliers, wire cutters, scissors, pencil, ruler, craft stick, fine sand paper, Wax paper, paper towel

There are nine pages of instructions and thirty-six photographs.

*Note: These are downloadable instructions for making necklace. Since it is a download, a window will open to download and when you are signed into your user account at the time of purchase, it will also be located in the "My Library" section of your user account immediately after purchase.
