The patterns are sized to fit the popular American Girl ® doll and similar 18"play dolls. The outfits are designed for durability and easy dressing, so that they can be enjoyed by the youngest of collectors. Although the outfits look elaborate, they can be achieved with basic sewing techniques and a simple machine. So much more than just another pattern, this volume is 26 pages long and contains:
- Descriptions - includes design options, outfit suggestions, and a lists of notions and fabric yardages.
- Instructions and Diagrams - concise, yet very detailed step-by-step instructions accompanied by full-color diagrams.
- Full-scale patterns - hand-drafted by Carla, then converted to a digital format. These patterns have been tested and retested for accuracy and perfect fit.
